Crypto frauds continue to be an issue for businesses and individuals. The number of victims continues to climb. This course is designed to keep participants up to date on the various crypto fraud schemes. It has been updated for 2024 to reflect new frauds that have occurred. We will examine the frauds at FTX, SQUID, and others. We will review some common crypto scams including Ponzi & pyramid schemes, pump & dumps, ISO Scams, Rug Pulls, Exit Scams, Pump & Dumps, Fake Giveaways, and Fraudulent Exchanges.

Dr. Minniti is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Forensic Accountant, Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Valuation Analyst, Certified in Financial Forensics, Master Analyst in Financial Forensics, Chartered Global Management Accountant, and is a licensed private investigator in the state of Arizona. Robert received his doctoral degree in business administration from Walden University, received his MBA degree and Graduate Certificate in Accounting from DeVry University’s Keller Graduate School of Management, and received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix.
